Truncks

During hikes in the Scandinavian wilderness, I have gradually started to understand the vast difference between industrial forest and the remaining virgin forests of this part of the world. My piece Trunks is a short memo about the fragility we impose on these primordial ecosystems through our systematic exploitation of nature. The yellow wood branches interlocked in the

ceramic trunks give the pieces freedom of movement. I took them out for a photo shoot on a bike path next to some industrial constructions.
